The Butterfly Net  is made of 1/2"  plain aluminum tubing on a 15" diameter hoop.   It has a 1" diameter diamond - embossed aluminum 6" handle into which you can easily attach a 7/8" unvarnished handle available in most hardware stores.   We also sell these with 18" and 24" and 30" and 36" long handles  ( which come disassembled ) .  These are commercial grade heavy-duty nets, not dime-store products.
