Those who teach (schools, park districts, etc.) or do (research projects and the like) science and need a fine mesh to capture small critters will find this a perfect solution. The longer lengths are 5' deep and with the soft finish makes it easy to work with in the water. This 5' depth and the soft netting also forms a bag effect which helps to trap the species.

These nylon seines are either 4' or 5' deep (choices available on the order page) and 1/16" mesh and are available in a variety of lengths to suit your needs. Each net comes complete with floats (approx. 24" apart) and sinkers (approx. 12" apart). Made in USA.

The lock-knitted netting in this seine is made of extra strong, multi-filament yarn to prevent runs and fraying. The seine has a delightful “feel” and ease of handling. It is also mildew resistant for longer life – a very good quality seine. The cords are over-edged in the netting for extra strength. The seines come a variety of lengths. Each net comes complete with floats (approx. 24" apart) and sinkers (approx. 12" apart). Made in USA.

The seines come in 2 colors (white or green), but the stock numbers are for white ONLY. If you prefer the green, you MUST mention it in the "Customer notes" section at the bottom of the "Place order" page.

4 Feet:

Two-piece, telescoping poles for minnow seines are made of diamond-embossed aluminum tubing with plastic caps at each end. 1/4" hole 6" from the top and 1/4" hole on the bottom end for holding the minnow seine cord. May be adjusted from 37” to 54” in length and locked in place by a push-button.
